It is said that he married a girl from Twywell and was a servant to David Livingstone. While the first appears to be true, I cannot find much evidence of the second - apart from a news clip in St Nicholas Church, Twywell, from the Livingstone Echo. Were they wrong?

I've read a lot about Livingstone and not come across Watteau anywhere else.
