Rupert Everett

Starting his career as a smouldering young actor in the mid-80s, Everett played Guy Bennett in the stage production of Another Country in 1982, before making his screen debut in the same role in 1984; equally acclaimed was Dance with a Stranger with Miranda Richardson the following year. Other films include My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) for which he received a BAFTA nomination, An Ideal Husband (1999) with an all star cast including Cate Blanchett and The Next Best Thing (2001) with Madonna. In 2004 he lent his voice to the sequel of the hugely popular feature animation about an ogre called Shrek, in which he plays 'Prince Charming'.
