Jean Barbara (née Ainsworth), Viscountess Massereene and Ferrard
(1883-1937), Justice of the Peace; first wife of 12th Viscount Massereene and Ferrard; daughter of Sir John Stirling Ainsworth, 1st BtSitter in 11 portraits
The Viscountess Massereene and Ferrard set up hospitals for soldiers inured in the Irish conflict of 1910-1914. She continued her voluntary work when war broke out and was given the position of Commandant of the Women's Legion Canteens which was attached to the Red Cross and gave care and refreshments to soldiers.
