Actor. Curry first appeared on stage in the London production of Hair (1968). The role with which he shot to fame, however, was that of Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, first premiered at the Royal Court in 1973 and in 1975 made into a film which became a worldwide success. Curry has since appeared in many musicals, television programmes and films, including award winning performances in The Pirates of Penzance (1982), Peter Pan and the Pirates (1991) and Monty Python's Spamalot (2007).
