Brenda Dean Paul was the daughter of Sir AUBREY (with a 'b') Dean Paul, 5th Bt, not AUDREY (with a 'd').

These days the possibility of a transgender identity probably needs to be considered - but I think you can safely say that anyone with a 'Sir' before their name who was a soldier, a father and who lived between 1869 and 1961 is unlikely to have had the Christian name 'Audrey'!
