Thomas Heatherwick
(1970-), Architect, sculptor and designerSitter in 3 portraits
London born Heatherwick, studied three dimensional design at Manchester Polytechnic and at the Royal College of Art. He was commissioned by the department store Harvey Nichols to design a temporary display for the shop's façade. His design was widely acclaimed and won him a D&AD yellow pencil in 1997. Heatherwick founded his practice, Heatherwick Studio, in 1994.
