Juliet Anne Virginia Stevenson

Educated at RADA, Stevenson performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1978-1986. She won the Olivier Award for Best Actress for her role in Ariel Dorfman's Death and the Maiden (1991) at the Royal Court. Stevenson appeared in Martin Crimp's The Country (2000) and Tom Murphy's The Alice Trilogy (2005), directed by Ian Rickson. Stevenson's other films include Truly Madly Deeply (1991), Drowning by Numbers (1998) and Bend it like Beckham (2002). In 2011 she appeared in the BBC series The Hour.
