Julie Susan Myerson

Novelist and critic. Myerson read English at Bristol University before working as a publicist for the National Theatre and for Walker Books. Her first novel Sleepwalking (1994) was followed by later novels including Laura Blundy (2000) and Something Might Happen (2003) which was long-listed for the Man Booker Prize. In 2009 Myerson's The Lost Child (2009) chronicled her son's drug addiction. Her novel Then was published in June 2011. Myerson is also a regular columnist for the Guardian, the Independent, and contributes to the BBC2 programme Newsnight Review.
