That image is definitely Colin Pearson. I would say it was taken at Camberwell College of Art. I say that because of the bow tie. Colin often wore bow ties to work, but would probably not have worn one at his home workshop. That was likely taken in the mid 80s. I met Colin in the early 70s while in London passing through from the States to Nairobi, where I lived and had a pottery for 12 years. I visited him and is wife several times in the 70s and in the mid 80s he came to the States and gave a workshop that we arranged for him. The last time I saw Colin was 1997, I think, on another visit. He came to meet us on his bicycle, because he was having trouble with balance at the time and said he could ride faster and better than while walking. Colin came to a number of NCECA events over the years. Colin was a precious friend and I miss him.
