Stanczyk visited the USA in 1941, where in Detroit he met with Polish-American trade unionist Leo Krzycki, an executive with the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America and Stanley Nowak, a younger colleague of Krzycki and future senator in the legislature of the State of Michigan.
