This is my father John Christopher Heal but he was always known as Christopher. He was an architect who became a furniture designer and headed the design department of Heal and Sons now known as Heals. In the back of the photo is his well loved 1928 Lagonda that we had in our family till about 1955. It is still going strong after a number of owners on both sides of the Atlantic.

The image is the right way around; the photo is taken in a mirror, with the camera in question in view to the left of the frame. Hence the distortion & flipping.
