Savile hosted the hugely successful television programme Jim'll Fix It for twenty years from 1975. He also regularly presented the BBC TV music programme Top of the Pops and was a DJ on BBC Radio One from 1968. Since his death in 2011 his reputation has suffered significantly following a widespread investigation into his conduct.
