Fashion model and actress. Born in Long Island City, New York, she was the daughter of inventor George Parker and the younger sister of model Dorian Leigh. Parker became the highest paid cover-girl of the 1950s and a favourite of photographer Richard Avedon. Avedon introduced her to director Stanley Donen who cast her in Funny Face (1957), which started her film career. Her other films include Ten North Frederick (1958) and Circle of Deception (1961).
