This is a picture of my grandfather. His son was Thomas Edward Highton Hodgson CB. I remember as a child that my parents had a photo of the Queen at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party sitting beside my grandfather in 1953, the year I was born, but it seems to have been lost and I was trying to find a copy.
My grandfather was knighted trwice and I was trying to find out why.
