Sir William Talbot lived in Walsall Staffordshire. He founded the Talbot Stead Tube Co in 1906. They produced stainless steel boiler tubes for many famous ships though both world wars. With 2000 employees by WW2. He died in 1947 and was knighted in 1935 for services to industry.
