William Martin-Hurst lived at End House, Akehurst Street, Roehampton where he held his photograph collection for his Exclusive News Agency.
He was my grandfather on my mother's side. He died the same year I was born so I never knew him.
I understand he was the foreign correspondent for the Daily Mail.
He collected a large amount of Famille Rose china (18th Century Chinese porcelain) some of which is in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
