Caesar Z de Ferranti was my great great grandfather. He was born in Belgium, moved to Liverpool and married Juliana Scott the daughter of the portrait painter William Scott. He had a successful photographic studio in Bold Street and his work was exhibited and won prizes. His career was short due to health and other problems
