Self-taught portrait and advertising photographer, Casson had a studio at King's Road, Chelsea during the 1930s, and contributed to journals including Photographie. She is particularly known for her Surrealist photographs, including her double-exposure work 'Accident' (1935), reproduced in Helmut Gernsheim's survey Creative Photography: Aesthetic Trends 1839-1960 (1962).
