Theodosia Bagot was my paternal great grandmother - I recognise her from a large portrait which hangs at Levens Hall, Cumbria where she lived with her husband Sir Josceline Fitzroy Bagot. Her maiden name was Leslie, daughter of Sir John Leslie from Castle Leslie in Ireland. She and Josceline Bagot had four children, one of which was my grandmother Dorothy Bagot who married my father Thomas Josceline Gaskell.
