Frederick William Evans was born on 19 June 1823 in Smithfield, Middlesex. The eldest son of Joshua Evans (born: 1795 in East Budleigh, Devon) and Juliana nee Buzzacott (born: abt 1800 in Tiverton, Devon).
In the 1871 census, Frederick William Evans is listed as a Photographer resident at 246 Old Kent Road, St George The Martyr Southwark, London with his wife - Mary and their children - Eliza, Sophia, Chltt, Elenor, Bartrice. Also present is his sister-in-law Eliza Lockhart.
The 1881 census lists Frederick William Evans as a Photographic Artist, resident at 246 Old Kent Road, Southwark St George Martyr, London with his wife - Mary and their children - Charlotte, Helena, Beatrice and Granddaughter - Maude Evans (born: abt 1873 in Nottinghamshire).
Frederick William Evans died in 1884, registered in Southwark, London.

Frederick Evans was my great-great grandfather and I have a photograph by him of his daughter Alice. His photos also go under the Parisian Photography School of 246 Old Kent Road and 151 Fleet Street.
