Sitter in 1 portrait
Lead rapper and co-founder of the phenomenally successful group Run-DMC. Together with Jason Mizell and Darryl ('DMC') McDaniels, they pioneered bringing hip-hop music into the mainstream by being amongst the first to record music videos in which they appeared with unlaced Adidas trainers, gold chains, leather jackets and sunglasses, redefining the image of hip-hop and sparking global fashion trends. Run-DMC made musical history by collaborating with artists from other music genres, their recording of 'Walk this Way' with Aerosmith became an international hit. Known as "Rev. Run" after he was ordained as a Pentecostal minister, he and his family are the stars of MTV reality show 'Run's House'.
