Nicola Jane ('Nicky') Philipps

Nicky Philipps was raised at Picton Castle, Pembrokeshire, the former family home where she is now a Trustee. She trained at the City and Guilds School of Art and the Cecil Graves Studio in Florence and established herself as a portrait painter in London in the late 1980s. Philipps has exhibited in the BP Portrait Award several times and was commissioned by the Gallery to paint Prince William and Prince Harry in 2009 and Simon Weston in 2014.
