Kevin Peter Pietersen

Sitter in 1 portrait
Pietersen made his professional debut for his home club in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa, during 1997-8. He moved to England, to sign a contract with Nottinghamshire in 2001. Pietersen plays for Hampshire County Cricket Club, and is captain of the Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore. Captain of the England Test and One Day International teams from August 2008 to January 2009, Pietersen was awarded an MBE in 2006.
