Retail executive and entrepreneur. Green established his first fashion business at the age of twenty-three. He purchased Bhs in 2000 and went on to buy the Arcadia Group, which owns Topshop, Wallis and Miss Selfridge in 2002. Green's portfolio is the second largest in the UK clothing market, second to Marks and Spencer. In 2010, Green became a shareholder in Syco, a venture between Sony Music and Simon Cowell, which will manage global franchises for The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
