Alec Boksenberg

(1936-), Astronomer and physicist

Honorary Professor of Experimental Astronomy, University of Cambridge. Boksenberg invented the Image Photon Counting System (IPCS), a special camera to record detections of single particles of light. Currently, Boksenberg is the Chair of the UK National Commission for UNESCO.
