Frank Kavanagh. Franks Medieval Tours aka Mr Kilkenny Castle ref KP 2014. Ireland

19 April 2018, 22:50

Having Worked in Kilkenny Castle for over 41 years I am happy to share stories about Lilah as she was called. Her Valentine Card stated "Love me Not, Love my Dog". Sandy her faithful Friend was buried beside her in Kilkenny Castle and as her husband James was overwhelmed by Duchess of Richmond and the affair was Inseparable Elizabeth aka Lilah devoted herself to Little Sandy. Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellowes next of kin Sybil threw Lilah out of the Castle when James, 3rd Marquis, Lilahs Husband died in 1919.
Also Elizabeths Housekeeper was Mrs Bird and at same time A Maid in Winsdor was named Bird.
