Andrée Melly
(1932-2020), Actress; wife of Oscar QuitakSitter in 16 portraits
Sister of jazz musician, George Melly, Andrée appeared in a number of films in the 1950s and 1960s including The Belles of St. Trinians (1954) and The Brides of Dracula (1960). She also worked on radio and television. She played opposite Tony Hancock in Hancock's Half Hour and worked on several episodes of The Benny Hill Show. She was a long-standing panelist on the BBC radio show Just a Minute, appearing in fifty-four episodes.
