Dominick Spring Rice studied at Eton and King's College, Cambridge. He was the assistant financial Editor of the London Post and Financial Adviser to the British mission to Russia. He was married twice: first to Margaret Garrett and then to Dr Margaret Ritchie. He died in 1940 at the age of 51. In addition to many articles on financial and economic affairs, he wrote authoritatively on German war finance.
