My paternal grandmother Ellen Chalk (died 1955) was so impressed by Rev Chilvers that she named our family home in Littlebourne 'Chilverston' The name remained until the current occupants removed it in 2015. This name was only explained to me by my father just prior to his death in 2010. David Chalk.

Harry Tydeman Chilvers was my grandfather. A small biography of his life was written at the time of his death and there are many books that provide further information and transcripts from sermons he gave. In addition his name appears in many records of London at the time he was Pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle.
