This is my auntie. She was my father’s elder sister. She sadly died much too young at age 63. My father was very upset about her untimely death.
She had a varied career with stage and TV performances. She is probably best remembered for her TV performances.
I had never realised that she had sat for a portrait. It is beautiful and just how I remember her as a child.
