Karen Usborne was born in America in 1941. She is the daughter of Wodehouse scholar Richard Usborne. Educated at Cranborne Chase sister school of Bryanston. She read Art and History at Oxford and in London. In the 80's she exhibited at the Royal Academy and her work is held in collections all over the world. She has written childrens books (including best seller 'My Passport to France') and illustrated for a range of magasines and publications.

Ms Usborne is/was a print maker. I bought the lower of the two prints shown in your photograph in 1975/6 is I bought it from small gallery sited in Lambs Conduit Street just opposite the Lamb Public House. My copy is 5 out of 30 and the prints were produced in 1975
