A painting by an unknown artist, and drawings by Lydia Penrose and Jane Arnold, are reproduced N. G. Wymer, Dr Arnold of Rugby (1953), facing pp 74, 33 and 161; a miniature by A. Tidey was exhibited RA, 1836 (849), listed by Dr S. Tidey, 'List of Miniatures by Alfred Tidey' (typescript, 1924, Victoria and Albert Museum Library), p 8, under 1836, where other Arnold family miniatures are also listed; a bust by A. Gilbert and a recumbent effigy by J. Thomas are at Rugby School.
