An oil painting by Charles Hayter of a family group consisting of Mr and Mrs Bagster, Mr and Mrs Birch, and Mr and Mrs Bagster and son, was exhibited RA 1807 (496); this presumably represented Mr and Mrs George Bagster, their son Samuel (NPG 1816) and his wife, née Eunice Birch (they were married in 1797), her parents Mr and Mrs Birch, and their grandson Samuel the younger (born 1800) who ran a similar printing and publishing firm of his own until his early death in 1835.
