Early Victorian Portraits Catalogue

Frederick William Beechey (1796-1856), Rear-Admiral and geographer

The only other recorded portraits of Beechey are, a painting by his brother, George Beechey, now in the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, exhibited RA, 1828 (607), and a painting (as a young man) by his father, Sir William Beechey, reproduced The Times, 19 January 1937.
