A copy of a painting by S. J. Stump of 1828 is in the collection of Coutts & Co, London, reproduced Connoisseur, LXXXIX (1932), 384; a painting by J. R. Swinton is in the Royal Marsden Hospital, exhibited RA, 1865 (161), reproduced as a woodcut ILN, LIX (1871), 313, and engraved G. Zobel, published J. Hogarth & Sons (example in NPG); a painting of 'A Garden Party Given by Baroness Burdett-Coutts for the International Medical Congress, London, 1881' by A. P. Tilt of 1882 is in the Wellcome Historical Museum, London; a painting by F. de Terry of 1877 was in the collection of Thomas Male, 1920; a painting by E. Long was in the collection of S. Burdett-Coutts, 1934, exhibited RA, 1883 (667), and so were two paintings by J. J. Masquerier; Baroness Burdett-Coutts appears in 'The Private View at the Royal Academy, 1881' by W. P. Frith in the collection of A. C. R. Pope, reproduced Studio, CIX (1935), 294; a water-colour by T. Chartran is owned by Coutts & Co, London, reproduced Connoisseur Year Book (1957), p 23, published as a lithograph in Vanity Fair, 3 November 1883, and so is a marble bust by an unknown artist; a miniature by Miss E. Scott was exhibited RA, 1842 (603); a bust by G. G. Adams was exhibited RA, 1869 (1291); a bust by W. Brodie was in the Gunnis collection, exhibited RA, 1874 (1509); another version is owned by Coutts & Co, and a bust attributed to Brodie was in the collection of A. J. Baxter, 1938; there are several engravings and photographs in the NPG (see plate 136); woodcuts were published ILN, LIX (1871), 461, and LXI (1872), 77 a lithograph was published in 'Leaders of Society', Whitehall Review, 2 September 1880, no. 153.
