A painting by H. W. Pickersgill is in the Scottish NPG, and so is a drawing by J. Penstone, engraved by the artist, published Cunningham and Mortimer (example in NPG), a marble bust by H. Weekes, exhibited RA, 1842 (1396), and a plaster bust by Sir F. Chantrey; a painting by Sir W. Boxall was exhibited RA, 1836 (80), and SKM, 1868 (300); a painting by F. W. Wilkin was sold at Christie's, 22 July 1871 (lot 65), possibly that lithographed by the artist (example in British Museum); a painting called Cunningham and attributed to Sir D. Wilkie was in the collection of J. J. Bell; a miniature by C. Fox was exhibited RA, 1837 (843); two busts by F. W. Smith were exhibited RA, 1823 (1060), and 1826 (1042); a marble bust by J. Fillans was exhibited RA, 1837 (1255); an engraving by D. Maclise was published Fraser's Magazine, VI (1832), facing 249, as no. 28 of Maclise's 'Gallery of Illustrious Literary Characters'; a pencil study is in the Victoria and Albert Museum; an engraving by F.
