Drawing by P-E. Falconet, medallion, engraved D. P. Pariset 1768 (front. for the first edition of the Biographical History 1769); this print is seen in the 1782 portrait by L. F. Abbott of Sir William Musgrave (British Library), who had commissioned the Falconet drawing.

A ‘very good’ portrait, given him by the sitter’s widow, belonged to the sitter’s brother, John Granger of Basingstoke, in 1803 (Gentleman's Magazine, LXXIII, 1803, II, p 895).
