Shee was exhibited RA, 1839 (346); an oil study of 1845 for Partridge's 'Fine Arts Commissioners' was sold at Christie's, 15 June 1874 (lot 72); an oil study for Hayter's 'House of Commons' was sold at Christie's, 14 June 1968 (lot 115, with a companion study of F. Shaw, dated 1834), bought Agnew, engraved by J. E. Coombs (example in NPG); a painting by H. W. Pickersgill was exhibited RA, 1850 (181), possibly the portrait in the Pickersgill sale, Christie's, 17 July 1875 (lot 313); there are several drawings by J. Doyle in the British Museum; a bust by J. K. Wilson was exhibited RA, 1838 (1295); there is an engraving by F. C. Lewis, after J. Slater (example in NPG), for the 'Grillion's Club' series; there is an engraving by F. Holl, after C. W. Cope (example in NPG); a woodcut was published ILN, I (1842), 240; a woodcut, after a photograph by Beard, was published ILN, XXIV (1854), 49.
