Painting by William Jefferys, the sitter’s father, half-length seated, an open book inscribed Spencer [sic] propped up before him with other volumes; in poor condition. Book Trust, London, on loan to the Maidstone Museum & Art Gallery (a reduced watercolour copy in the same collection).
