Painting by Andrea Soldi, three-quarter length seated by his harpsichord. Christie’s, 13 July 1984, lot 112 (as a Musician); formerly with Miss Musgrave, London, in 1915. The approximate date of the portrait is based on comparison with Soldi’s few dated works of this period. In his Will Kelway left his own portrait to his ‘faithfull friend’ Ann Phillips (DNB).
