Painting attributed to Kneller, three-quarter-length standing, right hand inside coat, left holding stick, with Garter ribbon. University of Nottingham; Clumber cat. 1923, no.72. D. Shawe-Taylor (The Newcastles of Clumber, Nottingham, 1993, p 40) suggested it may have been a pair to Kneller’s Lucy Pelham, Countess of Lincoln, dated 1722, sold Christie’s, 17 March 1967, lot 85 from Lord Chichester’s collection.
