Various portraits were in the Anglo-Jewish Historical Exhibition, Royal Albert Hall, London, 1887 (1047-53a); a painting by S. Hart, for the Congregation of Spanish and Portuguese Jews, was exhibited RA, 1848 (99) and another by the same artist, for the Town Hall, Ramsgate (reproduction in NPG), was exhibited RA, 1869 (256); a painting by F. Goodall was exhibited RA, 1890 and reproduced Magazine of Art (1890), p 257; a painting by G. Richmond, for the British and Foreign Life and Fire Assurance Co Ltd, was exhibited RA, 1875 (290), listed in the artist's 'Account Book' (photostat of original MS, NPG archives), under the year 1874, where an engraving is mentioned, possibly the engraving by T. L. Atkinson, exhibited RA, 1876 (1133); a drawing by L. Sambourne was in the Victorian Era Exhibition, 1897, 'Historical Section' (317), lent by H. Hart; a marble bust by H. Weekes was exhibited RA, 1877 (1425); a bust by A. Fontana was exhibited RA, 1884 (1690); an etching by R. Dighton of 1818 was published T. McLean, 1824 (example in NPG); there are lithographs by R. Blind (example in NPG), E. Kruger, Lunois and an unknown artist (examples in British Museum); a bronze medal was bequeathed to the NPG by V. Cohen, 1938, but declined; there are several photographs in the NPG, and a woodcut after one was published ILN, XLVI (1865), 153.
