Oil by Cregan exhibited RA 1822 (211) and RHA 1827, in private collection Ireland (W. G. Strickland, Dictionary of Irish Artists, I, p 230).

H. M. Chichester in Dictionary of National Biography mentions that as assistant adjut.-gen. to the Fusiliers in the Peninsula his portrait was hung in the mess.
