A painting by T. Phillips was in the collection of Alan Fenwick, recorded by J. P. Neale, Views of the Seats of Noblemen and Gentlemen in the United Kingdom, IX (1826), no.47, p 4, at Middle Hill, the sitter's early home, and by the Dictionary of National Biography, at Thirlestane House; a portrait was in the Worcestershire Exhibition, Worcester, 1882, 'Historical Section' (132), lent by C. Phillips; in a note by Scharf in his copy of the catalogue (NPG library), this is described as a miniature.
