Oil by Thomas Hardy now in Royal College of Music, engraved in stipple by Hardy himself, published Linley (the then owner) in 1796.

Chalk drawing by W. Lane at Windsor Castle is a study for a group of musical performers, Salomon, Pinto, Weischell, Shield, Linley, Parke and Aske, around a bust of Apollo on a pedestal inscribed Handel, Haydn, Mozart (A. P. Oppé, English Drawings … at Windsor Castle, 1950, 408 and plate 67); Lane exhibited a picture of this subject RA 1810 (544).
