Oil by A. W. Devis in Teignmouth family collection, exhibited Third Exhibition of National Portraits, South Kensington, 1868 (64) lent by Lord Teignmouth, half-length standing, his hand on his Life of Sir William Jones resting on an Address from the British inhabitants of Calcutta; a copy by John Hayes for Government House, Calcutta, was seen by Scharf in London after cleaning by Haines in 1886 (Sir George Scharf’s Sketchbooks, 113, pp 8a, 52, 52a).
