Edward Troughton (1753-1835), Scientific instrument maker

Oil by Charles Hayter exhibited RA 1808 (451) as 'Mr Troughton the mathematical instrument maker with his reflecting circle and sextant, and distant view of the large mural circle'; its present location is unrecorded in the NPG archive.
