A painting called Burnet by an unknown artist was in the collection of Colonel M. H. Grant, 1952 a water-colour by S. P. Denning is in the Scottish NPG, engraved by C. Fox, published Moon, Boys and Graves, 1827 (example in NPG); a miniature by W. Dance was exhibited RA, 1859 (7); a model for a marble bust by J. Fillans was exhibited RA, 1840 (1171); a woodcut, after a photograph by J. Watkins, was published ILN, LII (1868), 504; another photograph is in the NPG; a woodcut, possibly after a self-portrait, was published Art Journal (1850), p 277.
