Silhouette, bust length to right, inscribed Mr Cavallo 1780/Dr Lind. British Museum (1980.U.1093). A reversed example, inscribed Mr Cavallo/Jany.1792, is also in the British Museum (1980.U.1094 illus., Apollo, XXII, 1935, p 288; S. McKechnie, British Silhouette Artists and their Work 1760-1860, 1978, p 292). The heavy features resemble those seen in Dance's drawing of 1790.
