Steell of 1856, are in the Faculty of Advocates, Edinburgh; a painting by T. Duncan and a plaster bust by Sir J. Steell (related to the marble) are in the Scottish NPG; an etching by B. W. Crombie of 1848 is reprinted in W. S. Douglas, Crombie's Modern Athenians (Edinburgh, 1882), plate 39.
